Welcome to the history room of www.malawicichlids.co.uk. This website first began in 2002 (originally as africanrifts.co.uk), during the foundational era of the online fishkeeping community.
Over the last 24 years, some of the world's leading cichlid authorities, researchers, and pioneering hobbyists generously granted explicit permission to share their photographs and insights here. While the internet has evolved and several of these original websites have sadly gone offline, I continue to host this archive to preserve their incredible contributions to the hobby.
